MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
SIGN-IN POLICY:
All members must sign-in to MindBody on the mobile app or computer prior to their scheduled class.
LATE POLICY:
If a member is late to class, they will need to check-in with the trainer on duty to determine if they will be able to attend class. We typically will extend a 5-10 minute grace period, as long as the class is still in the middle of the warm-up, but ultimately it is at the trainer’s discretion and safety assessment.
The individual may also be asked to sit out of the skill or strength portion if they are late. This policy is meant to ensure that classes run on schedule and in a safe manner.
We value your safety, as well as our members and trainers time, and we ask that all of our members respect this policy and make every effort to arrive on time, if not early for class.
Additionally, if a member is consistently late to class and it appears they are abusing the late policy, the member will be asked to attend the next available class of the day.
MEMBERSHIP PLAN - AUTOMATIC RENEWAL:
Membership fees are automatically billed every 4 weeks using automatic payment [credit card, debit card]. Memberships will automatically renew each month at the same payment terms and billing date established at the time of enrollment and included in the membership contract sent via email to members. At the end of your membership commitment, your membership will automatically renew unless notified prior to the renewal. You are not bound to another full contract at this time, only month to month unless you are upgrading or downgrading your membership which then will restart a full term contract.
CANCELING A MONTH-TO-MONTH MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT:
Month-to-Month memberships can be canceled at any time, however, we require a minimum of 30 days notice before the next billing date. There will be no refund issued once a payment has been charged to the payment method on file. NO EXCEPTIONS.

CANCELING A 6 OR 12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT:
These membership plans are discounted as a result of the member committing to a longer term [6-12 months]. If you choose to cancel for any reason prior to your commitment being up, there is a 50% charge of your TOTAL remaining balance due at the time of cancellation. (months left in contract/2 = what’s due).
It is the members responsibility to provide written notice 30 days in advance, prior to your next billing withdrawal. There will be no refund issued once a payment has been charged to the payment method on file. Exception to cancellation: If you have a doctor order due to injury; we need a hand signed doctor note given prior to next billing cycle. Note needs reason of doctors order, signed and dated along with doctors current contact information. A picture or scanned in photo of note can be sent via email. At this point, your cancellation fee will be waived.

MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES & DOWNGRADES:
All members are welcome to upgrade [Limited > Unlimited] their membership plans without penalty. Memberships can be upgraded at the start of the next billing cycle or immediately. If a member wishes to upgrade immediately their new membership plan will start over at the new rate and their old membership will be cancelled and void. At the start of the next monthly billing cycle, they will be charged at their full membership rate.
If a member wishes to downgrade their membership, they must wait until their current contract is over until a downgrade can take place.
MEMBERSHIP HOLDS:
Members may put their membership on hold, for a period no less than 2 weeks, and for up to sixty (60) days [2 calendar months] per calendar year. Notice of hold must be given via written email notification prior to the first day of the requested hold and will not be issued retroactively.
All payments drawn prior to the requested hold will not be refunded. Members will not be billed while membership is on hold, and billing will resume automatically upon end of the hold.
All members with a 6 or 12 month agreement will have memberships extended by the number of months they are on hold.
Holds longer than sixty (60) days may be issued for members of the military with advanced notification. If a member chooses to cancel membership during the hold period, written notification and cancellation fees as stated above will be required. If you have a doctor note with temporary “hold” orders, a signed doctor note, doctor contact information and return date is required before extending membership hold without penalty.
MEMBERSHIP RATE INCREASES:
180 Kettlebell Gym will never increase your rate without notice. If a rate increase does occur, we will give you at least 7 days notice via [one of] email/voicemail/text with the most up to date information on file. If we do not receive any cancellation notice before your next billing date, we will assume the rate increase has been approved and we will continue at that rate until further notice with no cease in services.
REFUNDS:
180 Kettlebell Gym will not provide refunds for ANY membership cancellation requests.
180 Kettlebell Gym does not issue refunds if you do not use your membership, nor can you carry over sessions to the next month if you missed a class. OR if you forgot to cancel your membership before your payment was charged. No exceptions.
KIDS POLICY:
180 Kettlebell Gym prides itself on being a kid-friendly gym. But in the interest of keeping everyone as safe and focused on their fitness as possible, we ask that you adhere to these policies regarding children.
All children need to be able to sit unattended at the front of the gym or in the lobby area. If they require supervision, please have a responsible adult in attendance to supervise them.
Children are not allowed on the equipment at any time and must be off the gym floor during classes. Understand that if you are not supervising them, NO ONE IS.
We do not offer, advertise or imply in any way that there is childcare at the gym. There is not…
While we sympathize with your logistical issues, please understand that our foremost concern is the safety of YOUR CHILDREN. And a world-class [distraction-free] experience for ALL of our members.
DOG POLICY:
Dogs [and other furry friends] are not allowed in the gym AT ANY TIME.
SAFETY:
We reserve the right to scale or stop a member’s training session at any time, if it is deemed unsafe. Keeping members safe and minimizing injury is KEY in protecting the reputation of kettlebells and our gym.
TERMINATION OF ACTIVE MEMBER:
180 Kettlebell Gym's reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for ANY reason. We reserve the right to cancel a member’s membership, at any time, for any reason.
